Clean broken lines and spaces in text copied from PDFs
Tidy copied text without losing meaningful paragraphs and lists.
Keep an untouched copy
PDF text can contain spaces between Chinese characters, broken sentences or duplicate passages. Save the original before changing it so that every edit can be compared.
Start with the default options
Extra spacing, blank lines and line-end cleanup are enabled by default. Sentence joining and repetition removal are optional because they can change intentional formatting.
Protect structured text
Dates, addresses, numbered lists, poetry and tables can depend on line breaks. For a school notice with Date: 15 September and Venue: Hall, keep each field distinct and check the original document.
Review repetitions carefully
The tool targets adjacent identical text, not recurring words throughout a document. Turn repetition removal off if repeated phrases are intentional.
Check the output
Compare names, dates, web addresses and paragraph boundaries. Every run starts from the original input, so clicking again does not repeatedly process the previous output. The cleaner does not validate facts or interpret the notice.
