Check a QR code before printing or sharing

Verify the encoded link and test the downloaded image.

Start with a complete URL

Include https:// and inspect the spelling of the domain. Do not encode passwords, private identity information or data that should not be visible to someone who scans it.

Use a harmless practice link

Generate a code for https://example.com to learn the workflow. Replace it with your own public destination and generate again before publishing. The example is not a real event.

Check on another device

Scan the downloaded PNG and compare the scanned URL with the original. Confirm that it opens the intended page. Test from the distance and at the printed size you plan to use.

Replace outdated codes

A static QR code does not change after downloading. Editing the input requires a new image and replacing the old image on the poster. A destination can expire even when the QR image remains readable.

Know what is not checked

The tool does not certify that a destination is safe, maintain links or create official payment codes. Use your bank or payment provider for PayNow payments.
